Write each kanji from memory, and Kaisho checks it as you draw. 楷書 (kaisho) is the regular script taught in Japanese schools.
What it does
- Every stroke is graded
- Direction, endpoints, shape and length are checked when you lift your finger. Stroke order is strict.
- Asked through real words
- The card shows words that use the kanji, with its part spelled in kana: 水えい asks for 泳.
- Components and their sounds
- A kanji is split into its parts, and a part that gives the reading is marked.
- Three learning orders
- School grade, JLPT level or frequency. Switch at any time.
- FSRS scheduling
- A kanji you know comes back at longer intervals, one you miss comes back soon.
